When we were in Japan we learned a phrase, that apparently is like our "Bring it!" before a fight. It literally translates to "Let me borrow your face." (According to my Japanese teacher). I thought that was funny and started thinking about it last night because I BROKE MY FACE.


Well....maybe. They didn't want to take an x-ray because it's not like they could've done anything for a broken cheekbone anyway. But I got hit with a throwing discus yesterday, so the whole right side of my face is sticking out about two inches from my skull, I've got seven stitches under my eye, and a giant black eye (that wasn't allowing me to see anything this morning). I've also got 4 teeth that are kinda numb right now (luckily not loose). But I've been icing and the area where I actually got HIT is so numb that I can't feel the ice. Can you see blunt force trauma?
